Past experience includes Alternate Director and member of the Board of Directors at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) on behalf of Poland (2016-2018), President of the Centre for Poland-Asia Studies (CSPA) think tank, and author of several books on China and Asia.
He studied (as a Ministry of National Education scholarship holder) at Chinese universities, among others, Sun Yat Sen University in Guangzhou and Beijing University.
