Expert in new technologies, higher education and healthcare

Piotr Hańczyc defended his doctorate in Sweden at Chalmers Tekniska Hogskola and at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, in Poland. He worked as a researcher at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Laureate of many scholarships and grants, awarded, among others, by the European Commission, the National Science Center and the Swedish Ministry of Science. Author of dozens of scientific works.

He specializes in the molecular basis of diseases related to aging societies. He combines science with commercialization. His activities focus on translating laboratory research results into innovative diagnostic and therapeutic technologies in the field of health and personalized medicine. In addition to his scientific work, his interest is in systemic issues of higher education.
