He has extensive experience in the financial sector, having held senior management positions in asset management (Chairman and CIO at ING TFI), insurance (CFO at PZU) and banking (Acting Chairman of BGK). He served as Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund and as Chairman of the Bank Guarantee Fund, where he also represented the institution on the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Additionally, he was an independent supervisory board member of several publicly listed companies. He holds licenses as a securities broker and investment advisor, as well as the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation. He holds a PhD in astrophysics.
